On the 12th of August, a web application will be published online for 10 days which enables the card holder for indicating the corrections occurred in the data through Akshaya centers or by logging directly to the web application. Those data indicated by the card holder will be collected and corrections will be made by the Department.
After completing this exercise the Department will generate the priority rank list through the ranking software already prepared and publish the same through website, Panchayath Local bodies, Taluk Supply Office and after that social auditing will be conducted. The public can raise the complaints identified in the rank list within 7 days to the Rationing Inspector or Panchayat Secretary which shall be finalized within 21 days. A Committee under the chairmanship of the Panchayat Secretary will scrutinize the complaints raised by them; with Rationing Inspector (convener), Village Officer and ICDS officer are the members of the Committee.
Anyone having objections in the decisions of the above committee can file appeal before the appellate committee consisting of Tahsildar (Chairman), Taluk Supply Officer (Convener), Block Development Officer and ICDS supervisor. Further appeal can be made before the District Collector.
The data thus generated after this entire process can be used as a mother database by the Government and for other departments such as Rural Development, Panchayat, Social Justice, Motor Vehicles etc. for various schemes. Since bank account details of beneficiaries have also collected, the data can be used for Direct Transfer of Cash Subsidy to the beneficiary’s bank account in future. The above data can also be integrated to a smart card after making necessary changes.
